The role of pretreatment liquid
The pretreatment liquid has two functions.
The first is to act as a similar “intermediate medium”. The ink cannot be directly cross-linked with pure cotton fabrics to meet the requirements of color fastness to washing.Therefore, a medium is needed that can not only adsorb to the fabric, but also absorb the color patterns required for direct injection.
The second function of the pretreatment liquid is to make the fabric smoother and the cloth hair more supple, so that the ink dots directly ejected will be finer.
